Jocelyn Goranson
Flute Recital Texas A&M
This was a thrilling evening. Jocelyn Goranson was on form. A Gourmet Musical delight. There was something for everyone. When the TRIO got going, she managed to keep everyone on track. When she launched into Lipstick her technique was tight.
Jennifer Kubecka was a delight on the Harp. There were definite Deborah Heson Conant influences. Peter and the Wolf overtones were imagined by at least one member of the audience.
Stephen Beall managed to invoke great enthusiasm with his attack on the viola. I mused over him and Stephan Grappelli getting into the groove.
Dr. Todd Goranson gave a moving narrative performance. All that was missing was for the King to kiss the Flute.
Jocelyn and Dr. Luis Sanchez were like two prize fighters. Bobbing and weaving. This was the Crème dele Crème.
Overall I must say that it was well worth the hour and an half drive to the recital. Well done guys. You even managed to move my country and western wife into an appreciation for your skill, performance and artistic temperament. She thought you were GENIUS.

Our first camp was a Hugh success. We forged relationships that will last a lifetime. We decided that three events a year would be possible. I believe that we need to include a more balanced program to include the whole spirit, soul and body.

Praise the Lord for a Faith based organization that facilitates in the healing process of adoption through a legal system of Foster Care.
Foster parenting and adoption provide opportunities for ministry right in your own home. You can make a life-saving difference in the life of a child. As Christians, we need to get involved. Your home could offer hope to children who have been abused or neglected.
“For in you the fatherless find compassion.” Hosea 14:3
Every child deserves a home. There is a drastic shortage of foster and adoptive homes available. Unfortunately, the need is growing every year. You could open your home and change the life of a child!

CHURCH-BASED HOMES are the best solution.
WORLD ORPHANS partners with indigenous churches, not just to construct buildings, but to create loving family homes that:
Are smaller-scale group care environments with high care-giver ratios.
Are owned and run by compassionate believers.
Are fully integrated into the church and community.
Are Christ-focused in meeting physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs.
