The Power of God in Demonstration

ARE MIRACLES NECESSARY?

(John 2:11) “This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested faith His Glory, and His disciples believed in Him”.

OLD TESTAMENT
E.g. i) Moses – The burning bush
ii) Hannah – From barrenness to birth
ii) Jericho – Pushing down the walls
iv) Elijah – Prayed that it not rain Note: James 5 says He was an ordinary man.

NEW TESTAMENT
E.g. i) Jesus – water into wine
ii) Loaves and fish – multiplied
iii) Dead – raised
iv) The storm calmed.

WHAT IS A MIRACLE?
A miracle suspends the natural law and natural forces, so that God may do His pleasure, which is to bless His creation. Miracles don’t JUST happen they belong to God. Total commitment demonstrates total Faith. Decision demands action.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
TOTAL COMMITMENT:
E.g. i) The boy with the Fish gave all he had to Jesus.
ii) The widow gave all her oil and meal to Elijah.
iii) David chose five stones for five giants and wrote (Psa 23) going into battle. He verbally gave all he had
iv) Peter proved that Faith without works is dead. He gave all he had and stepped out of the boat.

DO THEY ALWAYS WORK?
Yes! As long as you trust God. Waver on you Faith and you will sink like Peter. It is your choice, not Gods.

CAN WE DEMONSTRATE THEM?
(Acts 2:1-4, 14-21) Yes! Jesus acted as a man on Earth, under the power of the Holy Spirit. But, he promised us that He would send another comforter, His Holy Spirit, when He went to be with the Father.

HOW CAN YOU DEMONSTRATE THEM?
(Acts 1:8) “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you”

WHAT MIRACLES CAN WE DEMONSTRATE?
(John 14:12) Jesus said, “He that believeth in me, the works that I do, shall He do also, and greater works than these shall He do.

WHY?
Because I go to my Father. The greater works are: i) Getting people born again in mass.

WE ARE COMMISSIONED.
(Math 28:19) Go into all the world, disciple all nations. i.e. Teach them how to follow after Christ, baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

AND GIVEN AUTHORITY
(Math 28:18) All authority was given unto Jesus, and (2Cor 5:19) tells us that we are ministers of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:20) and His ambassadors through His name. (Mark 16:15-18)

7 STEPS TO MAKING MIRACLES HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE
(Mark 9:38-44) “The God of miracles is now God!”

HEARING A TESTIMONY: The disciples understood the value of testimony, to prepare the hearts of the people, to (Acts 4:20) experience the miracle working power of God. Boost to Faith.

READING AND PREACHING THE BIBLE: The Bible is Gods revelation to man, it creates the right attitude for (Rom 10:17) miracles because it speaks of past success.
(Mark 16:20) So then Faith commeth by hearing , and understanding the word of God. God confirms His word with signs and wonders.

PRAYER: Bible examples of miracle men, show men of prayer. (Acts 4:24) “They lifted up their voice to God with one accord.”

RESULT: (Acts 4:31) “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they assembled together, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and spoke the word of God with boldness.

FASTING: After Jesus was baptized in the Jordan river and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him He was led by the Holy Spirit immediately into the wilderness. He fasted 40 days and 40 nights in preparation for (Math 17:21) His ministry. If your Faith is weak, fast and draw closer to God so that you can demonstrate Gods prayer.

OBEDIENCE: Many told the servants to do anything Jesus said to do, and thus the water tuned into wine. Many (John 2:5) people have not experienced the fullness of the Spirit in their lives because of disobedience. (Acts 5:32) Peter said, “The Holy Ghost, when God hath given to them that obey Him.”

BELIEVE Abraham believed God.
(Gen 15:6)(Heb 11:8) Jesus said, ” If thou canst believe all things are possible to him that believeth.” (Mark 9:23)

MAKE A DATE FOR A MIRACLE: (Math 9:21)
a) The woman with the issue of blood. “If I may touch His garment, I shall be whole.”
b) Be determined to get it.
i) I will search for Him
ii) I will find Him
iii) I will touch Him
iv) I will be made whole.
Decide if you want your miracle then Act like you want it.
Decide that you will get it then Act like you have received it.

NOTE: (DECISION DEMANDS ACTION)
