Dead man walking?

We are supposed to be dead to self and alive to Christ. When we make a confession unto Salvation we are supposed to bind the sacrifice of our free will to the alter. If you don’t it will get off the alter. The process of keeping our free will on the alter is called sanctification. Part of the Lords prayer which was a formula for prayer not an actual prayer, we pray “Your will be gone on Earth as it is in Heaven.”  We wash out minds and heart with the unadulterated Word of God.

We even go through Baptism which signifies dying to self and raising to newness of life in Christ Jesus. Buried under the water signifying death. We quote scripture like it is no longer I that live but Christ who lives in me. We are too self aware instead of Christ aware. Have we laid down our live as Christ did. And why? because He wanted relationship with us, not to save us from hell.

So if we are dead men walking our emotions and feelings should not dominate us. Out Spirit man should be predominant. All I hear these days is how I can do it all myself. Just what you would expect from a motivational speaker not a Pastor. We should be all in for Christ. His mission. His Calling.

As a tri-une man your Spirit should be large. Your Soul medium and your Flesh small. Today most Churches are teaching us to have large Flesh, large Souls and almost no Spirit. Dualism comes to mind. Ying – Yang. Be in control is the order of the day.

The Church is control by limited Government. A tri-une God who has delegate all power and authority to us The Church. We the people. Sheep produce sheep not shepherds. Imagine that. What a concept. Foolish as it sounds that is what we have become the Laodicea Church – The Lukewarm Church. Having a form of Godliness but denying the power of God..
